Peace be upon you, beautiful human being!

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah (our one God) Says: Spend in charity, O son of Adam, and I will spend on you.”

Today, I experienced all sorts of challenges. Out of the blue, I was compelled to call a couple of sisters who I knew were going through tough times. I cannot describe in words how speaking with them uplifted my spirits.

When I shared my “worries,” they boosted me with the certainty that all will be well – the same that I strived to do for them. It came especially when I needed it the most. What goes around always comes back around.

Another thing I noticed about myself was that my body does not react to stress like it used to. Even if I wanted to freak out over the situation, it’s as if that emotional state was locked.

Alhamdulillah, I was in total peace and serenity, knowing for sure that it would be taken care of – that I would be taken care of.

In my heart of hearts, I knew: my Beloved (Allah) Would come to the rescue. ❤

BTW, charity does not always mean money. Charity can be a smile to a passing stranger, or spending your time for the sake of God. Charity can be feeding your wife to express your love for her, according to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)!

My form of giving today was giving of my time, purely for Him. It filled my heart with gratitude, and the ladies I spoke with echoed the same words for me that I had shared with them. It was a beautiful experience, and my energetic field was very smile-y! The batteries were re-charged. Everything would be ok.

And it was.

Remember, if you want something in life, you must learn to give something first. Give joy to get joy. Give love to receive love. Be love.
